EU Code Week is a grassroots initiative supported by the European Commission that promotes coding and digital literacy for all. Launched in 2013, it brings together teachers, students, ministries, and volunteers to explore the role of technology in education and society. With activities in over 40 countries, Code Week focuses on creativity, collaboration, and accessibility. It offers hands-on learning experiences in areas like AI, cybersecurity, game development, and digital entrepreneurship. Through campaigns like Girls in Digital and Careers in Digital, it works to close the digital skills gap and inspire young people to shape the future with technology.
