OnePlus 15R unveiled ahead of Dec 17 launch: A first look at the design, colours and durability

OnePlus has officially pulled the covers off the OnePlus 15R—its next “value flagship”—ahead of the global launch on 17 December 2025. The phone will hit shelves in India, Europe and North America, launching alongside the OnePlus Pad Go 2.

OnePlus 15R

The 15R comes in two clean, standout finishes. Charcoal Black for people who like to keep things subtle, and Mint Breeze for anyone who prefers a lighter, fresher vibe. Both versions highlight the refreshed design language—a flat metal mid-frame and a camera module tilted precisely 45 degrees from the top-left corner.

OnePlus is also flexing on durability here. The 15R carries an unusually complete set of protection ratings: IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K. Translation: dust, water, pressure—this thing can take pretty much whatever your day throws at it.

OnePlus Pad Go 2

The Pad Go 2 aims straight at the mid-range tablet crowd with a clean, comfortable finish and two colour options: Shadow Black and Lavender Drift. Shadow Black gets the spotlight as the first OnePlus tablet with 5G, making it more travel-friendly than any Go-series tablet before it.

The lineup also gets its first in-series stylus—the Pad Go 2 Stylo—built for note-taking, doodling, document markup and everything in between. Students, creators and working pros will probably appreciate this the most.

Both the OnePlus 15R and Pad Go 2 will be fully revealed on 17 December, with more details dropping in the weeks that follow.
