Xiaomi has expanded its mid-range smartphone portfolio with the international launch of the REDMI Note 15 Series, introducing five models: REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G, REDMI Note 15 Pro 5G,, REDMI Note 15 Pro, REDMI Note 15 5G, and REDMI Note 15. The new lineup focuses on durability, larger batteries, upgraded cameras, and refreshed performance across price segments, alongside a few additions to Xiaomi’s wider ecosystem.

Durability and Battery: A Key Focus This Year

Across all models, Xiaomi is emphasising what it calls “Titan Durability,” combining reinforced structural design, improved drop resistance, and enhanced protection against dust and water. The Pro+ 5G and Pro 5G models carry the highest durability ratings in the series, including certifications for resistance to drops, pressure, and bending, along with higher-grade ingress protection.

Battery capacity has also increased across the range. The REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G features a 6,500mAh silicon–carbon battery paired with 100W fast charging, while other Pro models also benefit from silicon–carbon battery technology designed to retain long-term capacity. The slimmer REDMI Note 15 5G houses a 5,520mAh battery, and the standard REDMI Note 15 comes with a 6,000mAh unit. Reverse charging support is available across the lineup, depending on the model.

Camera Upgrades Across the Lineup

Imaging sees a notable update this generation. The REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G and Pro 5G debut a 200MP primary camera, using a large sensor with in-sensor zoom options and multiple focal lengths. Xiaomi says this setup is aimed at delivering improved detail and flexibility for everyday photography, including portraits and zoom shots.

The REDMI Note 15 5G and REDMI Note 15 feature a 108MP primary camera, offering what Xiaomi describes as optical-level zoom through sensor cropping. AI-based photography and editing tools are available across the series, with more advanced AI features reserved for the Pro models.

Performance, Connectivity, and AI Features

At the top end, the REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset and introduces a new cooling system to the Note series, designed to improve thermal performance during extended use. Other models use a mix of updated Snapdragon and MediaTek processors.

All variants support Google Gemini and Circle to Search, with additional Xiaomi AI features available on higher-end models. Pro variants also introduce offline voice communication for limited-range use without network connectivity, along with enhanced signal tuning for more stable wireless performance.

Display and Audio

Display sizes range between 6.77 inches and 6.83 inches across the series, with high peak brightness levels and eye-care certifications aimed at reducing strain during prolonged usage. Audio output has also been boosted, with higher maximum volume levels on the Pro models compared to the standard variants.
