Vivo has launched the X200T in India, positioning it as an everyday flagship that focuses on imaging, performance, and long-term usability. The smartphone sits in the Rs 50,000+ segment and brings ZEISS-backed cameras, MediaTek’s latest flagship chipset, and a large battery into a relatively clean and familiar X Series design.

Price and availability

The vivo X200T will be available in two storage variants. The 12GB RAM with 256GB storage model is priced at ₹59,999, while the 12GB RAM with 512GB storage variant costs Rs 69,999. The phone goes on sale starting February 3 and will be available via vivo’s official website, Flipkart, and offline retail stores across India.

Design and display

The X200T features a flat 6.67-inch display housed in a metal frame with straight sides, making it easier to grip during extended use. vivo is offering the phone in two colour options, Stellar Black and Seaside Lilac. The overall design stays understated, with subtle refinements around the camera module and a sand-blasted finish on the back panel.

Camera

Imaging is a key focus here. The vivo X200T is led by a 50MP ZEISS Super Telephoto camera with a 70mm equivalent focal length, tuned primarily for the 3x to 10x zoom range. It is paired with a 50MP ZEISS main camera with optical image stabilisation and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. On the front, there is a 32MP selfie camera.

vivo is also pushing features like ZEISS Style Portraits, multi-focal portraits, telephoto macro, and AI-backed photography tools that are aimed at making portraits and zoom shots more consistent in everyday use.

Performance and software

The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. vivo says the device is designed to handle sustained performance, supported by a large vapour chamber cooling system.

The X200T runs OriginOS 6 out of the box, bringing productivity-focused features such as improved multitasking, smarter file handling, and system-level performance optimisations. vivo has also committed to five years of OS updates and seven years of security updates for the device.

Battery and charging

The vivo X200T packs a 6,200mAh battery and supports 90W fast wired charging along with 40W wireless charging. The focus here is clearly on all-day usage with minimal downtime, especially for users who rely heavily on their phone for work and content consumption.
