Samsung has finally announced the launch date of its next premium flagship: the Samsung Galaxy S26 series, for February 25. The Galaxy Unpacked 2026 is expected to see the S26 family growing as Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26 Ultra.

The South Korean electronics major will focus heavily on Galaxy AI integration to next level in the Galaxy S26 series. “The new Galaxy S series is coming: built to simplify everyday interactions, inspire confidence and make Galaxy AI feel seamlessly integrated from the moment it’s in hand.”

Samsung said that the new Galaxy S26 series will mark a new phase in the era of AI as intelligence becomes truly personal and adaptive.

Galaxy S26 series might see the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor in the Ultra phone. The base and the plus variant could use their in-house developed Exynos 2600 processor. The Galaxy S26 series is likely to get up to 16 GB RAM and 1TB storage.

Samsung is unlikely to make drastic changes in the Galaxy S26 series camera set up. Ultra might continue with a 200 MP main lens while the other two phones with 50 MP main. The 12 MP selfie camera might not change.

Galaxy S26 series might see a slight battery improvement from its predecessor, the Galaxy S25 series. The base might ship with a 4,500 mAh cell, while the Plus could see a 4,900 mAh battery while Ultra is expected to jump to 5,500 mAh. 45W charging support is likely to continue.

Galaxy S26 is expected to come with a 6.3 inch display, while Galaxy S26+ might get a 6.7 inch screen, while the Galaxy S26 Ultra would come with a 6.9 inch canvas.

Being premium, the Galaxy S26 series is expected to start above 80K price bracket in India for the base model. The Plus could exceed the 100K mark while the Ultra will have the highest price tag.

Samsung’s Galaxy S26 series will be streamed at 11.30 p.m. IST.
