Amazon on Monday (February 23, 2026) inaugurated its new office in North Bengaluru, which is also its second largest in Asia as the company reiterated its commitment to invest in India.

The campus, located about 15 km from Kempegowda International Airport, spans 1.1 million square feet across 12 floors on a five-acre site. It can accommodate over 7,000 employees and will bring together teams from technology, ecommerce, operations, payments, seller service, and leadership functions.

The Minister for Large & Medium Industries and Infrastructure Development, Government of Karnataka, Dr. M.B. Patil, served as the chief guest for the inauguration.

“Amazon’s continued investment in Bengaluru reflects India’s growing role as a global technology and innovation hub. Large-scale campuses like Amazon’s new campus create high-quality jobs, strengthen local ecosystem, and support India’s digital economy. We welcome investments that build long-term capability and create opportunity for our workforce,” said Dr. M.B. Patil.

“India continues to be a long-term priority for Amazon, and Bengaluru has played a central role in our journey here. Over the years, the city has been home to some of our earliest technology and business teams, and today it remains a key hub for innovation and talent,“ said Samir Kumar, Country Manager Amazon India, adding his appreciation for Dr. Patil and Amazon’s commitment to investing in infrastructure, technology, and talent for the long term.
