Apple has announced that Sid Meier’s Civilization VII Arcade Edition will be available on Apple Arcade starting February 5. The popular PC strategy franchise will be playable across iPhone, iPad, and Mac, bringing the series’ empire-building gameplay to Apple’s subscription gaming service.

The Arcade Edition introduces evolving civilizations across different ages of human history, with players shaping the cultural and strategic path of their empire through key decisions. The game supports touch controls on iPhone and iPad, alongside traditional input methods on Mac.

Alongside Civilization VII Arcade Edition, Apple Arcade will add three new titles next month:

  • Retrocade – A classic arcade collection featuring games such as Asteroids, Galaga, Centipede, and Bubble Bobble. The game is also compatible with Apple Vision Pro, allowing players to explore a virtual ’80s-style arcade environment.
  • Felicity’s Door – A rhythm-based adventure set in a dreamlike world, following twins Tom and Felicity through diverse environments.
  • I Love Hue Too+ – A colour-based puzzle game focused on arranging mosaics into harmonious spectrums.

Apple also confirmed a limited-time Paddington themed update coming to Crayola Create and Play+ on January 22, featuring winter-themed activities.

Pricing and Availability

Apple Arcade is available in India for ₹99 per month with a one-month free trial. The service is also included in Apple One Individual and Family plans. A single subscription provides access for up to six family members, with more than 200 ad-free and in-app-purchase-free games available across supported Apple devices.
