Google has also announced a pre-order incentive for Google Store subscribers. Users who sign up by February 13 at 1:29 PM IST will receive an email detailing an offer on the day pre-orders open. According to the company, the offer must be applied to a Pixel 10a purchase to unlock a benefit that can be used on a future order.
A teaser shared by Google reveals a familiar Pixel design language. The Pixel 10a appears without a prominent camera bump, featuring a clean rear panel, a metal frame, and a blue colour option.
While Google has not yet revealed official specifications, leaks suggest the Pixel 10a will feature a 6.285-inch FHD+ OLED HDR display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak HDR brightness of up to 2000 nits. Powering the device is expected to be Google’s Tensor G4 chipset, paired with the Titan M2 security chip.
The phone is tipped to come with 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It is likely to run Android 16 out of the box and continue Google’s promise of seven years of OS updates, security patches, and Feature Drops.
On the camera front, the Pixel 10a is rumoured to feature a 48MP primary sensor with OIS, a 13MP ultra-wide camera, and support for up to 4K 60fps video recording. The front camera is said to be a 13MP shooter capable of 4K 30fps video.
Other expected highlights include an in-display fingerprint sensor, IP68 water and dust resistance, stereo speakers, Bluetooth 6, Wi-Fi 6E, NFC, and full 5G support. A 5100mAh battery with wired fast charging and wireless charging is also on the cards.Pricing is expected to hover around the USD 500 mark, keeping it in line with previous Pixel a-series launches.
