Apple’s iPhone 16 Pro, launched in India last year with a starting price of Rs 1,19,900, is set to receive one of the steepest discounts yet during Flipkart’s upcoming Big Billion Days sale. The e-commerce platform has teased that the device will be available at an effective price of Rs 69,999, marking a reduction of over Rs 40,000 from its current market price.

As of now, Flipkart lists the iPhone 16 Pro at Rs 1,12,900 for the base 128GB model. The sale will bring down this price significantly, making the device a much more attractive option for buyers eyeing a premium Apple upgrade. The Big Billion Days sale begins on September 23, coinciding with the festive shopping season.

How the Discount Works

Flipkart has not disclosed the complete breakdown of the offer. However, reports suggest the effective price will be achieved through a combination of flat discounts, bank card offers, and possible exchange benefits. According to India Today and News18, the Rs 69,999 deal already factors in a Rs 5,000 discount for transactions made with select bank credit cards. Customers are advised to check card eligibility and exchange offers at checkout to maximize savings.

Price Cut on iPhone 16 Pro Max

The larger iPhone 16 Pro Max will also see a considerable markdown. Initially priced at Rs 1,44,900 for the base 256GB model, it is currently listed at Rs 1,37,900 on Flipkart. During the sale, the handset will be offered at an effective price of Rs 89,999, once again including card-based discounts and potential exchange benefits.
