iQOO on Tuesday (December 3, 2024) launched the iQOO 13 featuring the newly introduced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite mobile processor chipset and FuntouchOS 15 in India. It competes with the newly launched Realme GT 7 Pro with the same processor, and also becomes the second phone to run the Snapdragon 8 Elite here.

The Chinese smartphone maker continues its association with BMW Motorsport for iQOO 13 which is into its fourth year.

The online-only brand also announced its availability across Vivo stores and mainline channels for the first time ever in India.

The iQOO 13 has a 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED Q10 display with a 144 Hz refresh rate and up to 4,500 nits of peak brightness. The phone also features a halo lighting around the camera module that notifies of calls and messages and can be customised as well.

iQOO 13 gets a 6,000 mAh silicon anode battery along with a 120 W charger inside the box. It also supports reverse charging.

The iQOO 13 runs the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor with up to 16 GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512 GB UFS 4.1 storage. Virtual RAM also available. There’s no expandable storage or microSD card option. The phone runs Android 15 out of the box, based on FuntouchOS 15. It will also offer 4 years of OS and 5 years of security updates.

iQOO 13 sports a 50 MP main Sony IMX921 sensor, a 50 MP Samsung’s ultrawide lens and a 50 MP Sony IMX816 telephoto camera. It has a 32 MP front camera for selfies.

The phone also comes with gen AI features like erase, translate and circle to search.

The iQOO 13 is IP68 and IP69 rated as well for dust and water protection.

iQOO 13 starts at ₹54,999 for 12 GB/ 256 GB variant, and the 16 GB/ 512 GB model retails at ₹59,999. The iQOO 13 comes in two shades; Legend and Nardo Grey. It will sell on Amazon, company’s website, Vivo offline stores and mainline retail shops in India. The open sale starts on December 11, while the pre-booking starts today.
