The Nothing Phone 3a is scheduled to launch in India on March 4. While the company has yet to disclose many details, its teasers have hinted at what to expect. One prominent rumor suggests that a new Pro model might be introduced in this series, possibly replacing the Phone 2a Plus. Although this hasn’t been officially confirmed, the teasers have already begun generating excitement about the phone’s potential features. This isn’t surprising considering the majority of the OEMs are creating a differenciation in their portfolio with this method.

A new teaser suggests that the Nothing Phone 3a might feature a dedicated camera button, similar to the one on the iPhone 16 series. In a cryptic post on X, Nothing shared an image revealing one side of the phone, showcasing volume buttons along with an additional button that could serve as a camera shortcut. The accompanying tweet, “Your second memory, one click away,” hints at quick access to the camera.

So Far What Do We Know About The 3a?

Based on earlier teasers, the Nothing Phone 3a series is expected to feature a triple-camera setup, marking an upgrade from the dual-camera system found in the Phone 2a and 2a Plus. The triple-camera system might be exclusive to the Pro model, while the standard Phone 3a could retain a dual-camera setup. While these details remain unconfirmed, one feature we can likely expect is a redesigned Glyph light interface on the back panel—an evolution of the LED lighting system seen in previous Nothing phones.

The Nothing Phone 3a is rumored to feature a 6.8-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a slight upgrade from the 6.7-inch screen on the Phone 2a. Under the hood, it could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, whereas the Phone 2a runs on the Dimensity 7200 Pro.

On the camera front, the triple-camera setup may include a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP 2x telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. The front camera is expected to remain a 32MP shooter, similar to its predecessor. Powering the device could be a 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging. While the exact specifications remain speculative, if the Pro model includes a telephoto lens while the standard variant does not, we might see a price increase for the Pro version compared to the Phone 2a Plus. However, this is unconfirmed until the official launch.More details about pricing and availability will be revealed at the launch event, but it is confirmed that the devices will be sold via Flipkart. For reference, the Nothing Phone 2a launched at Rs 23,999, while the Phone 2a Plus was priced at Rs 27,999. While there haven’t been any price leaks yet, the new models are expected to be priced within a similar range, given Nothing’s track record of competitive pricing.
