The Oppo Find X series is known for its advanced camera system, which has consistently been a standout feature, pushing the boundaries of mobile imaging technology. Extending this legacy, Oppo has launched the Find X9 Pro, a flagship that combines top-tier performance, impressive battery life, and a refined camera system, positioning itself as a compelling choice in the premium segment against competitors like the Google Pixel 10 Pro, and Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge. Now the big question is, can Oppo’s latest flagship truly win over users with its two biggest selling points? Let’s find out.
Design
Oppo has reworked the design this year, and the Find X9 Pro feels cleaner, flatter, and better balanced. At 8.25mm thin, it strikes a solid balance between slimness and a reassuring flagship heft. The flat edges and soft contours improve grip, while the Silk White finish introduces a pearlescent glow that feels luxurious without being showy. The Titanium Charcoal colour option offers a more understated, matte look for those who prefer a stealth finish.
The redesigned camera island now sits flush in the top-left corner and aligns perfectly with the frame. It looks intentional and fixes a practical problem too. Even during landscape gaming or shooting videos, your fingers naturally avoid the lenses.
This year, Oppo also introduces two physical controls, the customisable Snap Key on the left and the refined Quick Button on the right. The Snap Key can be set for functions like screenshots, the voice recorder, translation, the flashlight, or activating AI Mind Space. The Quick Button feels more precise than before and supports double-tap to open the camera, a press to shoot, a long-press for burst photos, and swipe-to-zoom gestures when held sideways.

Durability has jumped significantly. The phone brings IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection, and SGS Five-Star Drop Resistance. For a device that looks this elegant, it’s surprisingly rugged.
Display
The Find X9 Pro features a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with symmetrical 1.15mm bezels on all sides, the thinnest ever on an Oppo flagship. The near edge-to-edge screen feels expansive without relying on curves, making it ideal for media and gaming.
Brightness is exceptional. With 3,600 nits peak and 1,800 nits full-screen brightness, it stays visible even under harsh sunlight. At night, the panel drops to 1 nit while using 2160Hz PWM dimming, reducing strain for sensitive eyes. The display also supports Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and HDR Vivid, along with TÜV Rheinland Intelligent Eye Care 5.0 certification.
Oppo has upgraded the in-display fingerprint system to a new 3D ultrasonic sensor. It unlocks the phone faster and more reliably, including with wet fingers, and without the bright flash optical scanners use in the dark.
A thoughtful touch here is Vehicle Motion Alerts. The screen displays subtle moving cues along the edges when you’re in a car, reducing motion sickness by aligning what you see with the motion you feel. It’s a small but surprisingly effective addition.
OS and AI
ColorOS 16 feels smoother and more tightly integrated compared to previous versions. The Luminous Rendering Engine sharpens animations, while the Trinity Engine optimizes power and performance at the chip level. Switching between apps feels natural, and even heavy multitasking remains stable.
The Flux Home Screen now allows free resizing of icons and folders, while Aqua Dynamics introduces floating cards that respond fluidly to touch. AI Mind Space acts as a personal knowledge vault and works seamlessly with three-finger capture or the Snap Key. Saved content syncs with Google Gemini, letting you search or ask questions based on what you’ve captured.
Oppo has committed to long-term support too, promising five years of OS updates and six years of security patches. Combined with its AI Writer, AI Recorder, and AI Portrait Glow under the unified AI Hub, the Find X9 Pro feels mature, clean, and far more cohesive.
Performance
The Find X9 Pro is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500, a 3nm chipset that marks a big leap over the previous Snapdragon-powered X8 Pro. Paired with 16 GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512 GB UFS 4.1 storage, it handles everything with ease, from intensive multitasking to extended gaming. In benchmarks, it scored 3265 in single-core and 9526 in multi-core, alongside an AnTuTu score of 3.37 million, placing it near the top tier of 2025 flagships.
Oppo’s Trinity Engine plays a major role here. Chip-Level Dynamic Frame Sync improves fluency during intense scenes, while the Programmable Scheduler cuts redundant instructions and helps the phone stay efficient under load. Sensor Offload shifts video processing tasks to the chipset, lowering power consumption during 4K HDR recording. The redesigned vapour-chamber cooling system, now 33 percent larger, keeps temperatures stable with its ultra-fine 0.025mm steel mesh structure.
In real-world use, the phone feels effortlessly smooth. Launching heavy apps, editing 4K videos, or switching between multiple windows happens instantly. Gaming performance is stellar, titles like PUBG Mobile and Genshin Impact run at peak frame rates with stable thermals, thanks to Oppo’s Trinity Engine and the redesigned vapor chamber cooling system, which offers 33% better heat dissipation than before.
Compared to the Pixel 10 Pro, which excels at AI-heavy workloads, the Find X9 Pro leans toward sustained graphical and thermal stability. It performs neck and neck with the Galaxy S25 Edge, but with more consistent performance over longer gaming sessions. The AI LinkBoost feature also deserves credit, it keeps network strength stable in low-signal zones, something you’ll appreciate if you travel or game online frequently.
Overall, this is Oppo’s smoothest and most thermally balanced performance package yet, a phone that performs like a flagship should, without breaking a sweat.
Camera
This is where the phone truly comes alive. Oppo’s new Hasselblad Master Camera System combines powerful hardware with a refined computational backbone, and the results show it.
The star of the setup is the 200 MP periscope telephoto camera with a large 1/1.56-inch sensor. The Hasselblad-certified f/2.1 lens uses aerospace-grade glass to minimize stray light, and the floating focus system allows macro photography from just 10 centimeters away. Zoom is excellent across the range, delivering crisp clarity at 3x, 6x, and all the way up to 13.2x lossless zoom. When pushed further, computational enhancements allow up to 120x zoom. The 200MP Hi-Res Mode produces massive 16K UltraHD photos that retain detail even after aggressive cropping.

The main camera is a 50 MP Ultra XDR sensor built with Sony, using the custom LYT-828 chip. With a large 1/1.28-inch size, a bright f/1.5 aperture, and Real-Time Triple Exposure, the camera delivers a claimed 17 stops of dynamic range. In real use, it maintains excellent balance across shadows and highlights without resorting to artificial brightening. The 50 MP ultrawide camera includes autofocus and supports close-focus macro shots from 3.5cm away.

Colours see a major improvement through the True Color Camera, a dedicated 9-channel multispectral sensor with two million spectral pixels. It measures colour across the frame, giving the Find X9 Pro more accurate tones and better white-balance consistency, especially in difficult lighting.
Photos are saved at 50 MP by default across all three rear cameras, giving everyday shots 8K-level clarity. When needed, the system smartly adapts to 25 MP or 12 MP to control noise and maintain quality.
The LUMO Image Engine transforms the imaging pipeline with parallel computing. Instead of sequential processing, the ISP, NPU, CPU, and GPU work together on each frame, improving clarity, cutting noise, and reducing power usage. The Lightning Snap Engine handles motion better, while HyperTone ensures natural contrast and avoids overprocessing.
Creative tools round out the system. The Find X9 Pro debuts 4K Motion Photo, allowing you to extract high-resolution frames from motion footage, while features like Motion Photo Collage, 4K Slow-Mo, enhanced XPAN Mode, and direct Instagram sharing make it easy to experiment. Master Mode returns for manual shooting with RAW MAX and JPEG MAX options, and the new dual-flash system introduces nostalgic CCD-inspired looks with Warm Flash and Cold Flash film simulations.
The 50 MP selfie camera continues the high-resolution approach and offers 4K 60fps Dolby Vision video, producing detailed and natural self-portraits in most lighting.
Battery
Battery life is one of the biggest upgrades this year. The Find X9 Pro houses a 7,500 mAh third-generation silicon-carbon battery, which increases capacity without adding thickness. With moderate usage, the phone comfortably lasts up to two full days, and even under heavier loads, it still stretches well into the next day. Oppo says the battery retains up to 80 percent capacity after five years, thanks to its higher silicon content and optimised material design.
Charging is fast and flexible with 80W SUPERVOOC wired charging and 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging. It also supports up to 55W USB-PD fast charging and offers 10W reverse wireless charging for accessories. A short 20-minute charge brings the battery back to a healthy level, removing any meaningful battery anxiety.
Verdict
The Oppo Find X9 Pro feels like a flagship built with intention. The design is refined and durable, the display is bright and comfortable, ColorOS 16 is polished and fluid, and performance remains consistently strong. The silicon-carbon battery brings class-leading endurance, and the camera system, powered by Hasselblad tuning, the True Color Camera, 50 MP default shooting, Ultra XDR processing, and the LUMO Image Engine, is easily Oppo’s most complete to date.
The Find X9 Pro may not have the ecosystem pull of Apple or Google, but it delivers one of the most balanced, personal, and thoughtfully engineered Android experiences of 2025. It sets a new benchmark for Oppo and stands out as a flagship that finally feels whole. Oppo Find X9 Pro costs ₹1,09,999 in India.
