Realme 16 5G launched with Dimensity processor and 50 MP selfie camera

Realme on Thursday (April 2, 2026) launched the new 16 series smartphone in India featuring Realme 16 5G. The premium segment phone comes with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K certifications, making it resistant to water, immersion and dust.
Realme 16 5G has a 6.57 inch AMOLED display with up to 120 Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of up to 4,200 nits.
Realme 16 5G ships with a 7,000 mAh battery, supported by 60W charger inside the box.
Realme 16 5G runs on MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Turbo processor with up to 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. The device runs on Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16 out of the box.
Realme 16 5G sports a 50 MP main camera and a 2 MP monochrome sensor. It gets a 50 MP front camera for selfies.
Realme 16 5G starts at ₹31,999 for the 8 GB/128 GB variant. The 8 GB/256 GB variant will cost ₹33,999 while the 12 GB/256 GB model can be purchased at ₹36,999.
Realme 16 5G will sell starting April 6, across Flipkart and mainline retail stores in Air White and Air Black colours.
