The newly announced Realme 16 Pro series leans heavily into display technology, battery life and AI-driven software features, positioning itself squarely in the upper mid-range smartphone segment. At the top of the lineup, the Realme 16 Pro+ comes with a 6.8-inch 1.5K curved display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Realme says the panel can reach up to 6500 nits of peak brightness, making it usable even in harsh outdoor conditions. Support for 4608Hz PWM dimming and 10-bit colour depth is aimed at reducing eye strain while delivering richer visuals, particularly for gaming and video consumption.

The standard Realme 16 Pro is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300-Max 5G chipset, which the company claims scores over 970,000 on AnTuTu. It features a slightly smaller 6.78-inch 1.5K flat AMOLED display, also running at 144Hz, and is positioned as a more balanced option for everyday performance.

Both phones share several core elements, including a 7000mAh battery packed into a slim chassis, and an AirFlow VC cooling system designed to manage heat during prolonged usage. On the software side, the devices run Realme UI 7.0 with the new Flux Engine, which is said to improve daily responsiveness by up to 15 percent. AI-based tools are deeply integrated, with features such as AI Framing Master, AI Recording, AI Translation, AI Gaming Coach and Google Gemini Live aimed at improving productivity, communication and gaming performance.

Realme Buds Air8 Add AI-Driven Audio Features

Alongside the smartphones, Realme expanded its ecosystem with the launch of the Buds Air8. The earbuds feature up to 55dB active noise cancellation, a dual-driver setup combining 11mm and 6mm drivers, and support for Hi-Res Audio via the LHDC 5.0 codec. Additional features include adaptive ANC that adjusts based on ear canal shape, a six-microphone system for clearer voice calls, and AI Voice Assistant 2.0 powered by Google Gemini, which also enables face-to-face translation. The Buds Air8 feature a Nature-Touch Master design exclusive to the Indian market.

Realme Pad 3 Targets Students With Large Battery and AI Tools

Realme also introduced the Pad 3, a tablet positioned towards students and long-form content consumption. It includes AI-based productivity tools such as recording summaries, Circle to Search and AI-assisted note refinement. A large 12,200mAh battery sits inside a 6.6mm-thin body, aimed at reducing charging frequency without compromising portability.

The tablet features a 2.8K display with an A4-style aspect ratio, low blue-light certification and a book-view mode designed for extended reading and study sessions.
