Apple Arcade is rounding off the year with a mix of nostalgia and variety, headlined by the return of SpongeBob SquarePants in SpongeBob: Patty Pursuit 2. The sequel to the well-received Patty Pursuit arrives on December 4, bringing back the familiar platforming style and humor of the original, this time with SpongeBob teaming up with Plankton.

The game follows the unlikely duo as they work together to recover missing equipment, track down stolen inventions, and confront a new antagonist. Players can alternate between the two characters or play cooperatively in local multiplayer mode. The sequel expands the scope of exploration with multiple settings and puzzle-based challenges while staying true to the animated series’ visual tone.

SpongeBob: Patty Pursuit 2 leads a broader December update to Apple’s subscription gaming service. On November 13, Glassbreakers: Champions of Moss, a real-time multiplayer action-strategy title designed for Apple Vision Pro, makes its debut. Following that, December 4 will see the addition of PowerWash Simulator, Cult of the Lamb: Arcade Edition, Subway Surfers+, and Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm+.

PowerWash Simulator introduces its cleanup-based gameplay to mobile for the first time, complete with touch and motion controls. The release includes previously launched content packs, with more to follow post-launch at no extra cost.

Another notable addition is Cult of the Lamb: Arcade Edition, which brings the award-winning roguelite to mobile with all prior updates, paid expansions, and new exclusive in-game items.

Apple continues to expand its Arcade catalog, which now features more than 200 games spanning multiple genres. Longtime titles also continue to receive new content — for instance, Sneaky Sasquatch recently added a large farming area and new gameplay mechanics.

Apple Arcade is priced at INR 99 per month with a one-month free trial. It’s also included in the Apple One Individual (INR 195) and Family (INR 365) plans. A single subscription provides access for up to six users across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision Pro.
