Louisville, CO – Tendeg, a leader in advanced deployable space antennas, has received a repeat order from Capella Space, an American space tech company with synthetic aperture radar (SAR) and satellite solutions for government and commercial use, for twelve additional large aperture antennas to support the next phase of its Acadia-class SAR satellite constellation.
The award builds on a longstanding relationship between the two companies. Capella Space and Tendeg developed the first SAR payload for the C-2 mission in 2020. The new antennas will incorporate performance upgrades enhancing Capella’s ability to deliver global 24/7, all-weather high-resolution data to customers across defense, intelligence, and commercial sectors.
The twelve antennas will be built at Tendeg’s new 120,000 square-foot manufacturing facility, located in Louisville, Colorado. This expansion marks a significant milestone in Tendeg’s growth as the company accelerates scaling and throughput to meet the rising volume of sovereign, commercial, and government demand. Tendeg is also providing Ka-band deployable reflectors to Astranis for their Omega class satellite bus and to NASA supporting the INCUS mission, among other US Government programs.

Tendeg’s antennas are manufactured in-house with key elements of the supply chain being vertically integrated. This includes the investment of capital equipment to knit mesh, braid cord and perform end-to-end environmental testing in-house, allowing for tighter control over quality, cost, and delivery timelines. With key raw materials sourced domestically, Tendeg’s supply chain is built for resilience in the face of tariffs, export controls, and shifting geopolitical landscapes.
